The product is made of high quality 10 mm plywood and 18mm pinewood. The parts are joined with glue, painted with waterbased paint. Lanterns are made for e-27 lightbulbs which gives the possibility for individual light adjustment. For safety reasons there is no glass used in the lanterns.
